welcome!

hi all! i'm just trying out this whole "blog" thing...i thought this might be the easiest way to share with those who want to know about what's new at giraffe art + utility! to start with, this is what giraffe is all about....





there has been a lot of exciting things happening this summer at giraffe! first of all, i was able to take a fun trip to milwaukee for round #6 of art vs. craft with rebecca, trish, and heather, three other members of the st.paul craft mafia, a fantastic group of crafters that i'm honored to be a part of!
after an exciting day/night/morning full of RV fires, van mishaps, interesting bathing experiences, and the most ghetto hotel ever, we were able to turn this...



into this set-up (which was much better than we could have expected, given the circumstances up to this point).







the show was fun, but hanging out with three new friends definitely made the trip worthwhile! i'm definitely looking forward to more craft mafia excursions! <3
